When
11-year-old Alice meets the magical Wizard, she learns
that as a child of an alcoholic parent, she needs
to tap her inner strength to resist the crutch of
alcohol in her own life. Live action and animation
are employed to reveal alcohol as an "equal opportunity
destroyer" that can be passed down from one generation
to the next wreaking havoc with lives and shattering
dreams.
"A
very well produced program, with some effectively
used animation and simple special effects. Clear
and straightforward with a message. The program
will work well with primary and intermediate audiences
in both schools and public libraries. Highly Recommended."
