This
frank discussion between young baseball players and
their coach presents easy-to-understand analogies
describing the body's immune system and the actions
of the AIDS virus. Costumed germs and T- Cells demonstrate
how the immune system is affected by the HIV virus.
The coach makes it clear that it is difficult to get
AIDS. Only through "risky behavior" such
as sharing needles in illegal drug use, or having
intimate contact with an infected person can one be
at risk. Children learn that with appropriate behavior,
they have nothing to fear from the AIDS virus.
